China Institute on the Upper East Side

One of the great things about New York City is the countless number of research institutes, museums, etc. that offer visitors numerous chances for cross-cultural experiences. Here's one example that I just learned about and which seems really interesting.

Dear Friend,

If you were intrigued by the Terracotta Warriors exhibit at Discovery Times Square, in partnership with China Institute, we welcome you to come and discover China Institute!

Since its founding in 1926, China Institute has been advancing cross-cultural understanding between China and the US. Today, as US-China relations grow in both importance and complexity, our mission has never been more relevant.

There are so many reasons to support China Institute, the premier source for information about China in the US. To name just a few, we offer:

  • Excellent language study programs for children, youth, and adults
  • One-of-a-kind education and student travel tours to China
  • Innovative exhibitions of Chinese art treasures often never-before-seen in the US
  • Outstanding online resources for educators at www.china360online.org

To learn more about China Institute, and to support our exhibitions and programs, go to www.chinainstitute.org/support-us.

We look forward to seeing you at China Institute!

Kind regards,

Sara Judge McCalpin
